How will I be paid for my items?

Payments are processed as per your preferred and chosen method during the payment request. You may opt amongst the following payment methods: 

2.5% will be deducted from the value to cover bank charges.

 

When will I be paid for my item(s)? 

Seller payments will be made 14 days after Amused receives payment from the buyer and are made every 1st and 15th of the month. 

Please note that if the 1st and the 15th fall on a weekend or bank holiday, your payment shall be processed on the following business day.

For instance, if you request payment on January 10th, you would receive the payment on February 1st or on the following business day if February 1st is a weekend or bank holiday. 
 

Payment Methods

Amused provides options in our payment options for our clients’ convenience: Bank Transfer (BT), Credit Card (CC), POS on delivery (within Jeddah) and PayPal. 

 As a sustainable business with a conscious effort toward minimizing our carbon footprint, we do not accept cash. 

In certain cases, for payments made via Credit Card, we might get in touch with you to request for additional personal documents, such as a passport copy or ID card, in order to confirm your order. This is required to verify the identity of the buyer, and protect the cardholder against any possibility of fraudulent payments.

The full amount must be received by us for the order to be confirmed. Charges (payment and refund) are the responsibility of the buyers.

Amused works with sellers and collectors across the world. In rare cases, we may be unable to successfully deliver items because of a mismatch in live inventory listings with our partners. In such cases, Amused may cancel such orders if an item is unavailable, and make a full refund if the order has been paid for. 

 

Customs Duties & Taxes 

Are the Customs Duties & VAT included in the Item Price?

The item price includes VAT, Shipping and Admin Charges for KSA Buyers. Buyers outside KSA are liable to pay Custom Duties, as per the requirements of the destination address. Shipping outside of KSA is provided on a case-by-case basis. 

When do I need to pay Customs Duties and Taxes?

 

For all orders within KSA, the item price is all inclusive and no amount is charged in addition to it. For orders outside KSA, the customs duties are paid by the customer during clearance or upon delivery when the item reaches the destination country.

How much do I need to pay as Customs Duties and Taxes?

Customs Duties are purely as per the discretion of Customs Officials/Laws in the Destination Country.

What documents are required for Customs Clearance?

 

Orders can be held at customs for requirement of Duties Levied and/or some additional documents such as Proof of Identity, Purchase and/or other Certificates. The buyer will bear the responsibility for clearing the Duties, if any, and provide the courier with necessary documents.

 

What is VAT?

A value-added tax or VAT is a type of consumption tax that is applied on all goods and services whenever value is added at any stage of production and at the point of retail sale.


Authentication FAQ

Amused uses artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms to authenticate select luxury branded handbags and accessories. 

We check through microscopic images of logos, leathers, hardware, and materials via our device, where the algorithms will advise if the item is authentic or unverified. We do not proceed with selling any unverified items.

How accurate are the results?

We are proud to say that our accuracy rating is 99.1%, and we provide a certificate with a financial guarantee with every purchase. What that means is that if there was an error in our authentication system, we will offer you a lifetime refund guarantee.

Unfortunately, we do not authenticate by photos, but if you are in need of an authentication, you can bring your item(s) into our offices for an Amused authentication. 

We are also proudly using the latest in fingerprinting technology, offering our clients a multiple layer protection. Fingerprinting ensures what you have received is the same item as the one you have paid for.

Shipping Information

Amused offers free shipping within KSA 

All orders ship out within 2 working days.

Amused’s luxury service ensures that all items are clean and authenticated before being shipped to you.

Once your order is ready for shipping, Amused will contact you with the details of the tracking information, where you will be able to manage and track your shipment directly with the courier.

Amused preferred logistics partner within Saudi Arabia is DHL Express, to ensure that your special pieces arrive to you in the most professional, safe and timely manner.

Shipping to GCC & the rest of the world will be arranged on an individual basis. Contact our team through admin@amusedco.com to support your international shipment enquiries. 

 

Returns FAQ

Changed your mind after receiving your item? That's ok! 

Please contact our customer service team at return@amusedco.com within 2 days of receiving the item, so that we can help you with getting the item back and completing the returns process.

The client will be responsible for arranging the return. Refund price includes only the cost of the item, and does not include any customs duties. Items must be received by us in the same condition as when shipped with all tags intact.

A restocking fee of $25 will be applied to any returned orders.

Please note that on final sale items, there is a ‘no return’ policy
